Traditional Dances

Macondo cuisine is based on local produce: cassava, corn, rice, beans, sweet potato, massambala, pineapple and banana. Traditional dishes include funge, calulu and meats prepared with local spices.

Wood sculptures, basketry, traditional fabrics and jewelry inspired by regional motifs are produced by local artisans, preserving techniques passed down through generations.
